TwinCode & Authentication

A TwinCode is a visual code on a TwinMeta product — designed artwork rather than a plain QR code. Scanning it with the TwinMeta app takes you to the product's GFT, where authenticity can be confirmed.

Authentication​

TwinMeta products use complementary checks:

  • TwinCode — scan the visual code to reach the product's GFT (also a fallback where NFC isn't available).
  • NFC card — tap the product's accompanying NFC card.

Ownership itself is confirmed by your wallet against the on-chain record.

Why a designed code​

  • Carries aesthetic value instead of a plain black-and-white QR.
  • Doubles as a brand mark.
  • Links the physical item to its on-chain twin.
